Dang, that's pretty cool! Really nice view. And you did a nice job on the house. Trim looks great.

Looks like you do good work! Wish I had the money to pay someone to put new windows in my house...

It was between $70,000-$90,000 for the windows and door and Labor/Materials. It was 16 windows and 1 door. The biggest job i worked on (was another installers job) just helped for a couple days was $190,000 and it was the guys house who owns brown bear car wash. The front door of his house was on 1 street and the back of the house went down to the next block lol.. It was like 6,000sq. ft. Imagine having that kind of money... lol

I think the best part of the job is if we finish in the set amount of days its called a first time completion meaning we don't have to come back to fix anything or touch up anything after the finial set completion day. We get 5% of the job cost split between the crew our crews consist or 2 people. So I am hoping for a nice $100,000 job so i can split 5% of that with my partner.. will be a nice bonus hah

Yeah my sisters husband installs windows and doors, and he makes damn good money. But with the economy dropping the way it is, it seems like less people can pay for luxuries on their homes. Have you noticed a drop in work at all recently? I'm curious to know if its going on with other window and door companies.

Danyelli08 where are you from? do you know what window company he works for?

No I have not seen a drop in work recently. I live in Washington state and between Seattle and surrounding cities there is no short of money lol.. With Microsoft here it makes me sick seeing all these 2-3-4-5-10 million $ houses every other house.

I'm from Colorado, and I'm not sure what company he works for. He used to work for Alpine, but they just recently declared bankruptcy, so he started a new job, and is actually working on a college dorm windows at the moment. I believe that the company he is with right now is a larger company then alpine, but I don't know the name. Its good to know that some jobs are still ok. I've heard of a lot of companies closing out here.
