Hey guys,I'm happy to say that i have had a full couple of months of looking after other people's herps in the brighton to worthing area (West Sussex)and seem to be getting really satisfied reptiles and owners which is always a bonus.Firstly a little background info-don't worry not a long story,I'm a lifeguard and studying for my A levels, now as fun as being a lifeguard in it's not exactly the most well paid job and what with being a student i'am short for cash and there are 3 things i want
-A new Viv for my tortoises including lights, thermostats etc -A new female green python(my dads one that i cared for died after 12 years and i want to get a new one so when my dad visits he can handle it as they are beautifull snakes and i must say i fell in love with his one and was destroyed when it died
-And finish off the building of my chicken coop So as you can see all the money needs to go back into my herps and when i asked my mum for a loan she said that i would have to save up.So i racked my brains and thought what am i good at,enjoy and have experience in=looking after herps  I've being keeping herps for about 6 years since i turned 11,so far i've looked after/had a iguana, range of tortoises, tree python, carpet python, beardies, corn snake, whites tree frog, leopard geckos and an uromastyx.I've looked after 6 reptiles for other people in the last month or so and have 6 positive references avaible I have a refernece from my college tutor aswell.I'm not doing this for profit thought i'd make this clear. If any of you guys would like to hire my services which i feel has a fair price for a good service then please get back to me anytime,I'm also building a freeweb site which should be running soon for this.Cheers guys,i did tell a little lie when i said this wasn't going to be a long story lol sorry about that. -------------------- 0.0.2 Corns 0.0.3 torts 0.0.1 Leo 1Giant Africian snail 1.0.0 cat 2.0.0 guinea pigs 1.0.0 gerbil Coldwater fish

What a great idea! You're too far away from me (and my parents are too well trained as free leo-sitters) for me to use you but I wish you the best of luck.
Have you considered contacting local breeders/pet shops to see if they would be willing to put an advert on their site? |

hey Bex cheers for your support,I hadn't really considered as I don't really want it becoming such a massive thing but i think I may consider it,2 people heard about me from their friends so word of mouth is working out ok so far but i think i may as i will get just reptile owners seeing them which will be good.hence why i put a post on here, can you think of a better place to meet herp owners? lol.I'm really happy though as when i was growing up before my folks split we had loads of reptiles and it was great and now i get to hang around with more than i would be able to keep as i live in a small house lol.But back to your advice thank you very much that is a great idea,I'll keep you up to date.
