hi .
i went to a pet store 3 days ago and fell in love with these 3 lizards they are called long tails. our home has been a little empty after the loss of friedie our water dragon. so i thought i would take these guys home. apon getting them i discovered i could find little info about them anywhere and the websites onlineeach said somthing different . one site said to only feed them 3 times a week and another site said to feed them every day. each has a different temp zone that the tank should be in and what foods they should eat. so i am at a loss and not many people now things about the long tailed lizard as they are not used as pets often i was told due to the fact that they are fast , they jump and they do not like to be handled. i want to make sure that i am doing everything right . i have a 30 gallon tank i have coconut and moss at the bottom , a cork bark tree. watering spot and hid away feeder . the feeder has become a house for sam (one of the long tails ) as he/she likes to hid away most of the time. i have a 50 uvb bulb and a regular that i have on the tank at all times. i had a heat rock in there for about 15 min tell i took the temp and saw that it was 110 . i keep the temp at 75 - 85 every where and 85-90 at the sunning spot . i mist a lot . i have yet to find something to get the humid at 70% . does anyone now what would be good ? we know that baby is female and neon is male but we have no clue for sam . i will post pics in a little bit |
