My beardie has been having problems with he/she back legs and has a small bump on the back were the tail is, but my beardie usually never moves, only if it wants to go under the rock thing i have to sleep or if it wants food and it always lays down on its belly and never like my other beardie that stays up on all legs and runs around everywere but the other beardie is only 2 months old(smaller) but everytime i feed them the one with problems seems to only use its arms to move and its backs legs always get dragged, but im thinking its legs are paralized and i feed them both a good amount of calcium, but it doesnt like to eat any other food besides calcium crickets and a few meal worms and the good beardie eats anything. plz help

I would say the first thing you should do is have him/her checked out by a good reptile veterinarian. Ruling out any health issues first. Then other concerns can be addressed.

kazmy you did not say how old this one is, but i suspect one of two things here...... would you please go read this article on impactions and also check out the photos, you dragon either has calcium problems OR an impaction down low and that would be my first guess since you also state he only like crickets.
Here is the article, follow the directions there..... it will not hurt your dragon to follow them if that is not it, but I think that maybe what is going on http://www.reptilerooms.com/Sections+index...-87-page-1.html You need to check their temps... they must be accurate since beardies depend on outside heat to warm their boies to digest. A digital probe (online or from Walmarts/petstore for $5-$10) or a temp gun on the basking area is the only accurate way to measure them and they should be 95F-105F in the basking point. Young beardies can have it a few degreess higher, but it MUST be accurate. Crickets, mealworms (never recommeded by me) or superworms (only to adults) will cause impactions if the temps are not high enough and you can not guess as you can overheat them. Good luck and let us know -------------------- "The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched. They must be felt with the heart." -Helen Keller

Well, i love my BD so much i am gonna get him checked by a vet tomorrow and pay $60(wich is retarded) but for the love of my beardie! and i hope it gets better because it is an impactation its had the bump for 4 days and loss back leg movement but the best thing is that the vets can fix it in a week so that my beardie can once again run around! and the problem that cause it was a bigger cricket in a small cricket bucket that got in there. so ya i hope it gets better! cause bd's RULE!!!!
