I just got my first tattoo yesterday... It didn't hurt so bad, just from time to time. It took about 1½ hour
If you're wondering what the symbol means... Its a symbol that my biggest idol (Billy Corgan, Smashing Pumpkins) has on his spacesuit in one of my favorite videos, Smashing Pumpkins - Rocket. So its kinda a tribute to him and the band, but discrete, instead of just writing SMASHING PUMPKINS on my arm
Now I wanna see yours! Or what you're planning to do in the future |

Very nice - look forward to seeing more photos once it settles in.
Good idea for a thread too - I'm sure we have loads of them amongst us
Best I can manage at the moment is a shakey photo of the most recent tattoo. Done back in January, my own design. Its the only one I can photograph myself

Mine has been aching today, I tell you! |

Ok here are mine so far in order.
Firstly had the tattoo of Malta as I'm half Maltese and always considered it to be home away from Malta. The flag is half red, half white, with Maltese cross in corner hence the design. Although didn't get white done at time as heard bad things about getting white done but new tattoo artist I have would be able to do it so getting this redone soon.
Below that is a quote originally by James Dean that my friend who has since passed was obsessed with so I have done that in memory. Unfortunately the tattoo artist who did this was not brilliant either so had it touched up when I was in Malta a couple years ago and is looking a lot better now.
Next I moved onto chest. I have a big love for Egyptian mythology.
Then I went for an Anubis design (again Egyptian mythology) on my back between shoulder blades.
And finally my latest one fresh from last week is a lizard on my left forearm. I'm building a sleeve around this so still working on design!
That's it for now but imagine a few more to come yet! Not bad, only 21 still got plenty of space left on body! |

I love these kinds of threads. Tattoos are one of my favorite things
This is the first one I got when I turned 18 (sorry for the cruddy pic).
And this is my second that I got myself as a 21st birthday present. I designed and drew it myself. Its a modified Pisces symbol with two orcas instead of the fish. Its on my left calf.
I'll eventually break out from the orca theme to include tats of my reptis. |

Yeah it is the infinity symbol in the body... the whole thing has a story behind it but its long and too boring to put on here.
Love the Anubis tat Dekor... was thinking about some Egyptian symbol for my next tattoo... since I've had my arm done I feel a little out of balance At least thats my excuse for another one! |

The one on the left is for a family member who got hit by a drunk driver while he was crossing the street and died. the one on the left is my daughters name and when she was born. I have one across my shoulders but i cant find a picture of it at the moment. it says life and death upside down.

My most recent, a nonexistant gecko on my foot:
My Steve Irwin tribute tattoo. Really bad quality, taken a long time ago (2006).
My white tiger paw tattoo:
I have 3 others, but those are my favorites . |

I don't know yet - there no way I can afford it any time soon so I've kind of put it to the back of my mind. Darn this bleak economic climate
Love the script tatts Dumerillis, they're really nicely done. |
