How old is he and yes this is their prim mating seasons and males tend to be more aggressive and territorial with the "do not mess with me" attitude. is he eating and basking well still, normal poos?

I have had him since he was around 2 months baby and he must be 1 year old now i would say i am sure he is a male i read the books and looked at pics and compared them to sex him and there is 2 little lumps there and when i hold him i can feel the lump but makes sense now he never shows me his beard im his daddy but my girlfriend when she feeds him lettuce when i at work always showing her his beard so i think he must be territorial ? today he didnt show me his beard but he looking around all time i think for female awww.
PS. Yes he always eating his greens crickets or worms every other day and keeps pooing in his water dish grrrrrr

James just make sure his temps are correct also as that can make them moody too... use a digital probe thermometer or a temp gun for accuracy. some males go through a stage like this around 8-12 months and then calm back down
