My boyfriend wants a rattlesnake. He actually wants to go catch one up at Red Rocks, but i'm not all for him catching a wild one and putting it in our home. I honestly never knew that people kept them as pets until my bf mentioned it. I don't think i'd want one personally.

Gotta love that kitten!
But honestly, beautiful hots! I cannot wait until I get to keep them on my own! They are just amazing. I am especially fond of Gaboon vipers

Nice snakes. My thinking is that there is no pet venomous. Its just an animal in your care if you keep them. Venomous are some of the most beautiful animals out there. I plan on keeping a gaboon at some point but for right now I don't have the space or time. They are the heavy hitters of hte snake world. The hot equivalent of the blood python only with way bigger fangs and a huge head filled wiht alot of venom. I really like the west african gabby. Their horns are awsome.

From what I can see your red iguana is a female. She's lacking the fat pocket's on the top of her head. Her head is too small to be a male. Also her jowls is tiny compared to males. I'm 99.9% certain she's a female, but a picture of her femoral pores under her legs, like I asked before would seal the deal.
Edit: To back my answer, here's a perfect example of a male, a red male at that. Notice the fat pockets above his eyes. Also look at how huge his jowls are. Photo Credit Here's a better pic of the fat pockets.
Photo Credit Exactly how big is your red iguana? -------------------- ![]() 0.1.0 Green Iguana, 0.1.0 Viper Gecko, 3.5.0 Pictus Geckos, 2.2.0 Crested Geckos 1.0.0 Gargoyle Gecko |

Yeah those pics of the pores will help a lot. The actual length helps too, that way I can compare her size to my female, as I know for a fact mines a female. She might still have some time to prove us wrong, but as of now she's showing female. Do you by any chance know how old she is, besides the fact that she's a juvenile?
Also, Nice Hots, forgot to comment that before, I was more interested in answering your questions. I really like the Gaboon.
