I don't know if anyone else is like me but I always find photos on my hard drive/camera cards that don't always merit a whole thread. I figured a random shot thread could be a good place to dump them. Anyone else with any feel free to dump at will
First up - all of my lizards like showing me their tails while they sleep... in fact there can be days when it is all I see of any of them!
Then there is "Frack and The Best Sleeping Position In The Vivarium (Apparently)"
Unfortunately due to not having enough time in my life at the moment I have had to give up my leos and my viper geckos to new homes. I took a few photos in the last couple of weeks they were with me; not great photos but I just thoughts I'd put them up. Inara:
Mal:
Pickle:
Butthead:
...and her legendary butt:
PS anytime I try to take a photo with the flash off, it winds up really blurred, regardless of the level of zoom... its a cheap and cheerful camera but any ideas on how to stop this? -------------------- Jill

Good idea Jill, I've got tonnes of pics that could fit this thread but I'll try to control myself!
Bob has found a novel way to protest about the amount of Fizz based threads I've put up recently!
and Bob again checking if it's dinner time yet.
PS. Yay for Butthead photos, I've missed her! |

Jill, this is a great idea for a thread. You have no idea just how many photos I have that never really fit in anywhere. Expect to see some when I get home tonight! The pictures so far are a lot of fun. Bob and everyone else looks great. I didn't remember Pickle being so huge!!
As for your camera issues, have you ever heard the phrase "lights, camera, action"? I think what you need is more of that first part.... light. Make sure that if you aren't using the flash you have a lot of indirect light. Turning on overhead lights, desk lamps, even opening some shades (if the window is in a good place) can help bring more light into a room. Taking pictures against lighter backgrounds can help too. If your camera is fancy enough to have exposure settings I suggest setting the camera to have a longer exposure time. This means you'll have to hold the camera really still for longer but it will allow the lens to soak up more light. -------------------- 0.1.0 Leopard Gecko (Spikey)

Another of everyone's favourite Butthead. I miss her and Pickle already
As for the size of Pickle - he was 116g when he left me and just coming out of winter slowdown. I expect he will hit 120-125g for his new owner this year. -------------------- Jill

When cleaning out roaches, always make sure that you have someone to guard them while you scrub their normal motel...

Most of these are random cell phone pictures, seeing as my camera isn't cooperating at the moment.
Mmm eyeball
Evie, up close and personal
Look at how fast they grow! A baby after hatched
Only one month later
Here's the daddy. Look at this beast
And a random picture of Harley actually sleeping in the open!

To match Bex's, here is Blink claiming my puter as his own.
And him sleeping in his water dish, being a dork.
Citron being all crabby at the big black camera in front of him.
Kermit made weird sad face and should be the poster child for neglect.
And stickleback! The fishies I do behaviour research on.

(DeadByDesign) what kind of gecko is that one on the bottom hendrix?
He's a crested gecko, same as Evie, the first picture I posted. In my own personal opinion, I like them better than Leos. Mmm salt excretions!
Harley and Evie, first time introduced and they'd rather climb all over each other to their destinations rather than take interest in eachother
Harley,
Dexter, blends in rather well...
To go along with the keyboard theme

I know Blink loves my computer, aside from the fact that mom is on it, because it lets off heat. In the winter, when I have him out, he'll meander around but end up with his belly flat on the labtop to warm up.
And Cyrus is gorgeous btw

I think Cyrus has that "Oh No! They caught me looking at beardie p0rn!" look on his face hehe.
So I upgraded Evie to a bigger tank since she's growing so fast on me! I'm sure Harley is jealous since she's got a couple more inches than him to roam. (I'll just have to make up for that space with more female cresties *evil grin*)
Peek-a-boo crestie
Just for Jill, I know I'm so mean!
Trust me darling, one more Rhac wouldn't hurt! Their care is identical! Plus they're so lovable. I can't believe how fast this little one is growing! Exactly a month ago today when I weighed him he was 4.2g he just weighed in at 8.1g!
