I just placed my first online feeder order to Canadiansilkworms.com. I will let everyone know how the service was and how many were DOA.
I placed an order for 100 waxworms, and 500 mealworms. I am planning to attemp breeding the mealworms. Hope all goes well. I think I may have ordered too many waxworms.. Now that I know they are so high in fat I am not sure I want to feed them to my reptiles on a regular basis?? Are butter worms better? -------------------- Owned by 3 Leopard Geckos and 3 doggies!

Make sure that you provide enough moisture and ventilation for the mealworms and you shouldn't have a problem. Oh, and separate the beetles from the rest of the group as they will eat other stages.
If you don't want to feed off all of the waxies (they are a little higher in fat), butter worms are a healthy choice (despite their name!). They are usually pretty expensive though. Phoenix worms are a good choice too but they are a fair bit smaller and not all reptiles go for them. -------------------- 0.1.0 Leopard Gecko (Spikey)
