Not bad. I like to wa gabby. I like the edb too. I had to miss the hamburg show for family reasons. I wanted to pick up some more west african bush vipers. I saw photos of some people who got some very nice yellow ones. The timber is nice too. I'd love to pick one up but don't feel like going through the permit process to get one. I almost bought a pair of canebrakes at a hamburg show but chose not to. They are no replacement for our darker timbers.

I'd love to get the variable bush viper or squams which ever you want to call it, but its hard to find them. I got a w.a. bush viper or atheris chlorechis at the last. Should have picked up more. They were fresh born from imports. they require tease feeding but its not too bad. I have a friend that Im working out a trade for some chlorechis for my popes pair. I wouldn't recommend the hairy bush viper. They are extremely hard to keep alive. I think the longest in captivity here in the US is 1 year. Plus you have to keep them cool. In the mid 60s I think. I had a friend how was doing good then one day his ac broke in the summer and it died. The hamburg show is better when its not crowded. I'd like to pick up some c. cerastes but I want one with horns and one that isn't fresh caught. What I really want is to pick up some more eyelash vipers.

I'll take a look at the trans pecos. The sidewinder is sold to a friend of mine. The thing with the atheris chlorechis at the show was, the adults were mostly fresh imports and the babies were fresh born. I got a fresh born and it take about 10mins of tease feeding to get it to take a pink head. I don't mind but it can be a chore, especially after 15 minutes they take it just to spit it out and you have to start over again. Its an aquired taste. Most people hate it. I personally don't mind. Its not agressive at all, which I think is the problem. Takes forever to make him mad enough to bite. Don't feel rushed to buy snakes man. You'll end up with stuff you don't want or with sick/dying stuff. I'd say 99% of any cerastes cerastes at the show were fresh imports. I want to pick up some c. vipera next show If I can find any or maybe a nice cerastes cerastes. Mostly I'll look. Im so tight on time these days I need to slim down my collect. Im on the edge as to wether I'll be keeping my popes vipers. I still have a big male carpet python and 2 het snow vpi balls to move.

Ill take a pic when i see him at my tattoo apointment thursday. my baby timber is the same way when it comes to feeding i tap his tail with a pinky head and he feels more inclined to run than strike i love it when he rattles at it with his little rattler its so funny. all the rattle snakes i just got were from a friend who couldent keep them any more due to lack of money and he had to move he gave me a really good deal on them i like the timber and the westerns the best i might give the eastern to a friend cuz he has a really bad disposition twords me and is very unmanageable with a hook i really like easterns tho there beautifull snakes so im kind of torn but if i do give it to my friend ill feel better that selling it to someone i dont know cuz i can check on it and make sure everythings going ok with them both

Sounds good. I'll take a look. Im looking for a specific coloration and pattern. Rattlers are awsome snakes. Diamond backs are snakes of mean disposition. I hear most people have westerns that start off nice but end being mean. Just watch yourself with them. I'd like to keep an albino wdb or prairie.
