Oh and one thing I just realized. That heat rock that Franz is laying on... don't use them. They tend to cause burns on animals, and you have to be really careful with that.
Just a suggestion. |

Cute pics. But I can't tell if that is sand or walnut shells you are using for a substrate for your beardies. Try something solid, like paper towel, shelf liner, or tile. And like Coexist said, ditch the heat rock or cut the cord.

Yea iv read alot that heat rocks cause burns but iv had that one for awhile even since my first 2 bd were little and have had no problems same with the substrate walnuts. But i will keep an eye on that franz spends alot of time outa his/her cage he/her is pretty tame already. I have been thinken about changen the walnuts out tho. Thanx for the suggestions and comps guyz!

You can use linoleum but it is not as attractive as tile. It can be as thin as you want but you'll want to measure your temps with a digital probe, which you should be doing anyway.
I would still ditch the heat rock. Or cut the cord. Definetly ditch the walnuts also. Any respectable breeder/ her vet will tell you the same. Its just not worth the risk. -------------------- 0.1.1 Leopard Geckos 1.1 Bearded Dragons
