Hello Everyone,
My 18 month old python has stoped eating his pinky's and its been about 2 1/2 weeks since he has eaten anything should i be worried it is getting towards winter here in australia and he is also changed color? I am some what in-experienced with snakes and need some help plz any suggestions welcome... thanks |

does anyone know or have any suggesstions as vet was no help all he said was it should start eating soon..........

Sorry it took so long for a response. Anyway, is it possible he is in shed? Can you give us more info on this snake. I'm not too familiar with them so I'll have to research a bit but maybe its general husbandry issues. First answer these:
1. Age and gender 2. How long you've had him 3. temps and humiditys (in ferenheit if you can i suck at converting) 4. cage size 5. substrate 6. can you tell us anything else out of the ordinary that may have happened 7. food. do you feed f/t or live? This info will give us a better idea of what could be going on to help narrow it down. |
