I pray to God you are not dead. I hope one day you can forgive me for overlooking that tiny crack. Hopefully the crickets that seem to escape just like yourself will keep you alive and healthy until one day when you decide to come back to me and I can take care of you again. I search every day and every night. Hopefully it will pay off eventually. I can't bring myself to buy another viper gecko until I find you. No other pet could ever replace you. I'm not saying goodbye cause I'm not giving up. I'm just saying sorry, cause I don't know if I can ever forgive myself.

Last picture I took of Gex.

I should have just left you in your other cage sad.gif

Thanks guys, it's been two months now, I can't bring myself to clean her cage out so I have space for my other geckos. I just still have hope that she's lurking around in the shadows somewhere. It's not that easy finding a gecko that's about three inches long, but I haven't given up.

awww so sorry, but if it is any help we have had igs escape outside in florida and recover them AFTER a winter 5 months later and we have one snake that is the houdini of reptiles. The good thing is they do not go very far and can thrive very well in outside. Just keep a pan of water available on the floor near the last place it was at.

Thanks Cheri, I always have escapee crickets, and sometimes I let a few escape just so if she is lurking she's got something to eat. The one good thing is she's a desert gecko so she can withstand lack of water, although, if she's eating the crickets she should be getting some moisture, but I do leave water and her favorite hides out, hoping one day I'll find her in them. wink.gif
