I bought an adult pacman frog (2 years old) and I want to feed it primarily guppies. Can I get guppies at petco? and how many should I feed it per week, and how would I keep them alive in the meantime?

i know that this is a little bit late. but yes petco sells guppies. i believe that they sell the fancy guppies but they also sell the feeders(no bright colors and usually not as nice). since you are just feeding one frog i would guess that you wouldnt have all that many fish so you could probably keep them in a small 5 gallon setup.

regular guppies need special salt to live, feeder guppies dont seem to need this. they seem to breed on their own just fine. i got 4 for snacks for my newts to try to get him off of waxworms, he ate one and left the others alone to breed, and breed, and breed. i have mine in cool room-ish temp water and i feed them every once in a while (im hoping they will eat each other one day, so far no luck) i have to keep a good eye on them so they dont overpopulate my newt or fire bellied toad tank. so as you can see, they are very easy to breed
