| hey, so when i picked up pat's meds from the vet today, i asked them to write down the name of the parasite that pat has. it's isospora oocysts. they gave me albon suspension which is an antibiotic. i have to give her 1tsp for three days, wait three days and then give her 5mg for 3 more days. should i be worried about yellow fungus??? |

Although I have not dealt with yellow fungus in bearded dragons, it was two of my chameleons (that had nannizziopsis vreisii) that were first studied by Dr. Pare enabling the fungus to be identified.

i read all that and when i talked to my doctor he said that he spaced out the time i was to give it to her so she shouldnt get the fungus. he also said that if she started getting symptoms of yellow fungus to bring her back to him immediately. so as of now, everything is fine and i'm just going to keep watching her for any changes.
