i am getting a 20 gallon tank for my leopard gecko and i really want to get a couple of viper geckos. i have a 10 gallon that is just going to be sitting around doing nothing so i thought i'd go out and buy a couple of them. i have reasearched so far that males are very territorial but can be housed with a couple females. is this true? how many vipers can i fit into the 10 gallon. ive also read that there best substrate is either sand or reptile carpet. hich one works best. also how old do they last? about how much do they cost? do they eat any vegetables? do thay need humidity or desert like housing. if anyone could give me a url to a good caresheet or give me some tips id be happy to hear about them. thanks alot!

If you PM me your email address I'll send over a care sheet I have been working on for them. Also worth looking at is:
http://www.thelizardwizard.co.uk/Viper_Gecko_Care.htm As for how many in a 10g - one. There are quite a few threads recently that have a lot of information about vipers... just scan down this forum a bit and you'll see some. -------------------- Jill
