I just got a new comp so I tried downloading the java thing but when i click on the link for it in the How-To sticky, nothing happens. I tried just clicking on the join chat button, but again, nothing happens (the same page just reloads). I was thinking it was my pop-up blocker but it is still happening even after I put RR on my allow list.

are you using internet explorer?
try opera or firefox -------------------- Across the eye there is a protective lens,

explorer. I have dial up sp down loading fire fox is nearly an impossible task. I always get dc in the middle of the dl

Hi, I cant help you much with your internet problems. But another alternative to using the sites java chat is downloading mIRC or another irc client. Mirc is what I use and I find it good.
Its not too horrible of a download. Here's the link. http://www.mirc.com/ If you decide to use it let us know and we can easily guide you through the set up to get to our channel.
