Greetings all.
I adopted a Burmese from a neighbor kid several years ago, as I knew he would not be able to handle taking care of her after she was past the "neat-o" size. I've had her for over six years now, and she is still a wonderful companion. Unfortunately, I've married, taken on a new business, and have a child in the house. I have tried to manage my time, but I can no longer give her the attention she needs. I am also now limited on space, and she can only venture around the house when it's just us. I have been putting this off for some time, but need to find her a better home. I need to know that the home she goes to is safe, and that she will be well taken care of. I'm in Pinellas, and would prefer someone in my vicinity. I would especially be happy if it were a place where I could still visit her to make sure she was doing well, but I understand that this is not always possible. She has a very good disposition, is over 12 feet long, and over 80 pounds(need to weigh her again). She has fed on both live and pre-kill, but I haven't tried any thawed foods. She has a habit of not eating for a few months during the winter, which started three years ago. She is about 8 or 9 years old. She has beautiful markings(ever seen one that didn't?) and sheds very well. She has never taken to soaking, but has a favorite branch she rest on. If you are interested, or know someone I can contact, it would be appreciated. |

You may want to try our adoption forum too, you may get more interest in there.
Anyways, good luck! |
