I'm thinking of moving my South American Wood Turtles outside. I live in Tallahassee, fl where it stay warm most of the year. In the winter it will get cold at night in the 30's, so I need to know how do I heat the enclosure at night doing these times of the year. I wasn't planning on having any heat lamp, just natural sunlight for the day hours.
The Vet said these turtles can withstand cold temps but I would think lower 30's is going to be to low. I'm really new to this outside enclosure stuff so any advise would be nice. Thanks Shane |
