There is a box/space at either the top or bottom of the screen...make sure your cursor is there and type! Just type and hit enter

But be warned...if you show up for the friday or saturday night chats I may yell "NERDS!!", give you an atomic wedgie, and steal your lunch money.
I'm serious about the wedgie, too. I've learned to pull some "Lawnmower Man" action and can digitize myself and travel through the phone and/or cable lines. I'll suddenly pop out of an unused cable or phone jack and give you a wedgie while yelling "I am god here!!!". You'll be confused and angry, yet strangely happy that you got noticed by me.
