I'm living in Red Deer, and i'm trying to find a place that sells crix at a reasonable price, i need to feed 4 leos, so the cheaper the crix the better. For the last few months i've been buying live crix from petsmart, @ .10$ea but it starts to add up quickly, anyone know any cheaper place i can get them (and please not petland's half dead containers of 100)

haha, sounds WAY better than my current price, i'd be paying about 100$ for 1000, petsmart is great in comparison with any other store in this area, and they're even the cheapest when it comes to crickets
unfortunately, 100$ for 1000 crickets is still way too much

Well, i've made a couple orders from them now, and they've got pretty good service, first time was 5 dead crickets and second was only 3. And as my experience with herps grows, i bought myself a bearded dragon. Now with winter coming up fast, i'm looking for a place i can get bugs form for that price that's a bit closer, as i don't wanna have my crickets out in the cold or anything. Does anyone have any information on Krickets Un LTD? As far as i can tell, they're located in Lacombe, and i have an address, but no phone number! If anyone knows a way i can get in touch with them, post it please!

I'm quite sure Kricket UnLtD is a pet-store supplier only.
You can try Canden farms, they are in innisfail, but yeah.... www.candenpetsupply.com I order all my stuff from them, I'm in Calgary and even last night they delivered to my door. Usually they deliver to pet-stores and you can pick up your order from a pet store. |

The best price by far is for crix is Aracnophiliacs, they are in innisfail, but he delivers. its $40 for 1000 crickets, and he has tons of other feeders too. Ive worked for him before and all his bugs are healthy and very reasonably priced, Id check him out. www.arachnophiliacs.ca

haha sorry, not they are actualy $25 per thousand for crix, its $40 for 1000 super worms. so that translates to.... 2.5 cents per cricket opposed to 10 cents per cricket.....

Arachnophiliacs are directly related to Canden Farms, btw... They work (or worked, I think that Arachnophiliacs expanded recently), in the same building in innisfail.
