I was just wondering what thermostat you guys use with a heat pad for your reptiles? And if you could post a link, and tell me if you would reccomend it, that'd be great.

The repti-temp is the popular one and widely used.
We get a lot of people praising the Repti-temp on this forum.
There is very little difference between them really
The 500R has 2 outlets and will handle up to 500w
Alife 3 outlets and handle up to 1000w
Slight difference in temperature range but not significant, when used with heat mats/pads.
As long as it does the job, I dont think it matters much on brand.

I live in the UK so we dont have those over here, we usually use dimming or pulse thermostats here, some have day/night drop facilities.

I have used both types. I like the alife better. It is a simple on/off, but it works with one mome lamp/heatpad and handles more watts for my bigger tanks.
