Full Version: can i keep 2 corn snakes in the same cage

biggrin.gif can i keep 2 corn snakes in the same cage i have a 30 gallon tank i've this corn snake for not even a year and it is almost an if i get a baby will they fight?[/google]

Its not recommended to keep them together.

You COULD possibly keep two corns of similar size together providing you feed in a separate tub, and not in the enclosure, however whilst not as notorious as Kingsnakes, corns are known to be cannibalistic. It's advised to keep them totally separate unless you intend to breed. All mine are housed individually.

Keep them seperated.

1) if one is sick they are both sick
2) twice the vet bills
3) Has a possiblitie of becoming canniblistic
4) the bigger corn WILL stress out the little corn
5) Stress makes them a non feeder
6) non feeders get sick
and you are back at the beggining.

Keep them seperated, it is for the health of the snakes.
