The Reptile Rooms > Snakes > Corns & Rat Snakes
giligan_my_gecko
?

Either is actually fine for a baby. The thing about baby snakes is that they can fit through the tiniest of spaces, the big log (both) leads right to 'out' for it. It's amazing what they can fit through really, be super sure there are no openings for him.
Anyway, either branch would be OK.
Bunny_Too
I agree either would be fine but the second looks sturdier and may be better when the corn gets bigger
CalasCorns
They're both fine, but I'd definitely ditch that crappy reptile carpet. That stuff is horrible.
SamAndLindy
I agree with calas corn my corns love the aspen I have them.Although they dont like papertowels or newpaper when I tried them on it.They were also out alot less with the newspaper.
cosmosnake
To continue with the above two posts, I have half my tank newspaper and half bedding. I find my snake spends most of the time under the newspaper than anything.
Tux
I agree aspen is the way to go, reptile carpet just wasn't designed with snake in mind.
giligan_my_gecko

Herp__Kid
i had mine on carpet for like two days because they snag their scales on it
