I've noticed that when I go to check on my corn snake he tends to hide in the coldest corner. I'll pick him up and he feels really cool and then once I'm holding him he's becomes more active. This doesn't happen all of the time but it does happen often and I wasn't sure if I was doing soemthing wrong. I have light on or the heating pad on and I have a thermometer in there and I keep it about 80 so I'm not sure exactly what he's doing. Is he getting to hot? Or is he just being a little odd?

ok thank you. He had seemed ok but I just wanted to make sure. Being a new snake owner I guess I worry too much about everything
