sometime early next month i will be moving due to the ford layoff. we will be driving from virginia to michigan. i haven't a clue as to how to move 2 snakes in a possibly hot car. I guess i could get one of those neck fans to keep them cool but i still need suggestions. thanks in advance

Funny, whenever I transport my snake I worry about keeping him WARM not cool. How long is the drive going to be? I'd be more concerned if you need to stop overnight what to do with them then. I think in the event that it gets too hot a fan would work well and try to avoid getting them in direct sunlight like maybe putting a towel over a window.

the drive is like 8 hours i think but i know that we're doing it in one stretch. also i thought of something when it gets closer to the move should i stop feeding them to eliminate the possibility of regurge

like one of those baby on board things?

Try using a white cloth bag kinda like a pillow case but with a loose weave so they can breath. They are called snake bags and they work very good. Then put them in a rubbermaid tub and keep it at night time temps. This will reduse stress That is how they transport them to distributors.
