Well my gravid female has never been a problem feeder until now.
Since she 'woke up' in feb shes been eating twice a week, but, the last meal she had was two weeks ago (since shes started refusing).
Her second shed was yesterday.

I thought they were meant to refuse food after the second shed but not before?
Does this sound normal or not? She is very gravid anyway her belly scales are going on the side of her!

thanks

I'm not quite sure where you got the idea that corns would eat all the way up until their 2nd shed, but that's simply not true.

Most corns stop eating somewhere in between their post brumation shed and their pre-lay shed. Some corns won't eat at all out of brumation, and some will eat right up until they lay. Most stop offering food after that 2nd shed since most females will lay within 10-14 days.

I hope you've got your nest box in with her.

Good luck.

Yep biggrin.gif

Well thats cool, she stopped almost in the middle of the sheds so thats good timing then.
I guess I had read the information wrong.

Thanks
