I am currently making plans for an acrylic cage.I need an idea of a good size. What do you think of 36 high by 24 wide by 12 deep? thats really the limit for room that I have.I know that an enclosure can never be big enough but isnt this a good reasonable size..
I figure I will make three over the course of the next 9mnths so I can use two for pairs and a third for emergency separations or babies or whatever....

Well given that this board is slow I went ahead and bought the acrylic. So I should have my first cage done by the end of the week..I have another enclosure that I am refurbishing that will be 36x22x18.I just need one more...

that size sounds about right for a pair.... my tank's pretty much the same size...36x24x24..... yearssss ago i had two tokays in a 50g long, the one i have now in this huge tank acts completely different, much more active and much less deffensive

Thanks. If I EVER get my upstairs attic finished then they can go on to a huge size enclosure since I will just about have unlimited space up there.I just have to figure out a way to cool it down in summer then it will be my reptile room..but it may be many months yet..So these cages will have to do for now, but they are just babies right now too.
