I’ve had my little guy for 6 weeks, now he‘s approx 12 weeks old. Good feeder and very active during the evening and morning hours, shed twice and otherwise well adjusted to his surroundings. My question and concern is when he’s handled. He assumes a defensive posture, fully curled on himself, and will not willingly move when handled. Can anyone suggest any thing to help? Will time cure his fear??

Just keep at it, he's get use to opening his enclosurer, pick him up, handling him, etc... all in time. At 12 weeks old they're still pretty small compared to you or I ..... pretty intimidating.

Keep at it, he'll get use to ya and keep you sessions short at this point. Over handling can stress any snake out.
