Evidently there is a new statute in the city of pittsburgh that entails that exotics must have a leash or 'under control' to be out in public. A local policman I know told me about it when i was in the park with my beardies the other day. The police here often cruise the park looking for drug deals that go down or a chance to spot one of my creatures
I haven't been able to find a hardcopy of the new 'law' yet, but it's not that envasive. Someone or someones just decided to walk around the city with a huge boa and made a scene. Personally, i stay to the park or my own backyard with my beardies and snakes and try not bug anyone. Everyone in my neighborhood knows me and loves my creatures, but if you are in an area that hates snakes or something, you may find yourself in a mess. Just a heads up!
