That doesnt make sense. Pogona vitticeps is genetically closest to the other Pogona species like, Common Eastern Dragon (P. barbata) or Lawson's Dragon (P. henryilawsoni). Physignathus cocincinus is the chinese water dragon and there is another name (which I forget sorry) for australian water dragons.
So where did you get your info?
