Hi, Just a quick question, reading a lot of the posts and other care sheets for my new corn it would seem that some people feed them in a different environment to their house. Is this an necessary and if so what type of environment do you feed them in?

Also does this continue as they grow and move into bigger tanks?

Thanks.

whilst feeding in a seperate enclosure is the recommended way to feed snakes, i personally have always fed my snakes in their enclosures, except when it has been necessary to house 2 together. in this situation i have fed the snakes in plastic tubs with click fastening lids that have air holes drilled in the top. if feeding in the enclosure, i would advise placing the food in the enclosure using a pair of long tongs (laboratory tongs are the best in my mind)

Yeah I feed mine in his enclosure. He's an adult. But he's very gentle and tame. Never confuses me with food tongue.gif And I use tongs to transfer food into his tank and place it on a paper towel so the aspen shavings don't stick to the food when he's eating.
