Hey All! I've been a member for awhile...just haven't posted much....

I just got my 1st Bearded Dragon 2 days ago!! I am really excited!

I got her from a woman that is no longer able to provide the time and attention that Minnie deserves.

Minnie is a 4 year old female. Her head and neck are orange and the rest of her body is grey speckled! She is 8 inches nose to vent and 18 inches nose to tail tip. She is beautiful!! She is very loving and loves to cuddle!

I'm just learning, so feel free to post any advise!!

Also...I have been researching a ton, and the care sheet posted here at Reptile Rooms is AWSOME!!! Thank you so very much!!!

Minnie sounds great! I'm glad that she will be getting lots of attention.

awesome! shes 4? i was wondering if anyone could tell me of a good age to start with if its your first beardie?

I see a lot of then in pet stores lately that are only a few weeks old. I think thats so sad, especially since alot of them go to people who have never had them before. My boy was two monthes when I got him, and even he seemed very small. The breeders I got my girl from judged it more by size then by age, which I think was a great way to do it. That way they knew that the little ones were on schedule and doing well before they went home. They let them get seven inches long first.
