I have owned a bearded dragon for several years. for all of that time he has been quite active, eating well, and so on. A few days ago however, he has become quite lethargic and not eating and becomeing a little thin on the skin especially at the hips. He also keeps his left eye closed.
He will sometimes eat if I place him right next to his food. He will only drink water if I hold him in my hand and let him drink from the sink faucet. He hasn't had a bowel movement for quite some time. I have also noticed that when he does open his left eye for ever so brief moments, that his pupil seems to exhibit a slight milkiness in the center. I cannot find any references to eye disorders for bearded dragons in books or on-line. If someone could help me out with these problems, I would really appreciate it.

It's hard to say whats going on with your beardie.
Can you tell if the beardie has anything in it's eye?
Can you get any pictures?

In my opinion, your dragon has an eye infection. If this is the case, try one drop of Falcon drops (obtained at any vet office) twice a day for 10 days. If this doesn't help, I'd take him in for an exam. Best wishes!
