DO any of you put fake/live plants in your leos home? I guess it wouldn't be necessary since they live in the desert. Just wondering...

yeh plants are always a great feature. u dont have to but i have the odd bit of leaf vine here and there to add a bit of cover. i suggest you go for fake plants because as its a leo i guess you dont use a uv light (well some ppl do but leo's dont need it) so go with fak plants they are easy to clean and dont need looking after

If you want live plants, use succulents, which can tolerate the heat rather well, and require only an occassional watering.
I have two fake plants, each in a pot, in both far corners of my tank. Not only do they look nice, but my leos seem to enjoy climbing them! |

I have a vine thing with a suction cup on one side of the tank and then a "tree" like plant near the center. My leo seems to really like them, he's been sleeping on the leaves for a few hours now.
