Featured Breeder - AlphaDragonZ
Posted by: CheriS on Sep 18, 2005 - 02:34 PM
Featured Breeders AlphaDragonZ Huntington Beach, California.
Owners : Randy & Evangelia Whitmire
Website : http://www.AlphaDragonZ.com

What an exciting breeder this is and future they have with the unique color morphs and genetic lines they are working with. All that, plus the health and size that is lacking in so many of the US breeder lines today. They call them Alpha quality and this is where their name comes from. Believing strongly in a connection between the temperament of a parent and an offspring, AlphaDragonZ are breeding dragons with a pet mentality and all the pluses that should be in a beardie that has the best possible care and start in life. This is what makes not only a good pet, but for the future generations they may produce.

This medium sized hobby breeders strives to produce genetically diverse bearded dragon morphs along with the total package of quality of health, personality and color. They also provide solid and lifetime customer support that includes the newest husbandry techniques so that new owner can do the best for their dragon.

We are extremely excited and looking forward to following their future projects. AlphaDragonZ has put the dragon first, not the sale and are working to restore the strength and heartiness of the past. This season they have obtained two dragons to add to the American gene pool to strengthen it and their existing high color lines. The first is an import from Germany that was produced from parents who came from Australia, unrelated to any dragons in the US, except those that arrived with him. The other rare dragon is a German Giant imported from the Ukraine.

AlphaDragonZ is currently working with Hypopastels, Marketed Leucistics, Translucents, Smoothies. True REDS, ORANGES, YELLOWS, and SNOWS. Getting back to the best for the dragon is their goal, they are doing it and still keeping the nice color that so many of these lines are noted for.
