Down time on site Posted by: Cheri Smith on Thursday, March 13, 2008 - 08:39 AM EST
Our apologies for the down time of the site. We are having problems with the server that runs the site, it is constantly being hit by brute force attacks and anything they can think of to do to purposely take it offline a variety of ways. We are attempting to do what we can, along with the server company themselves, legal department and a private company.
Sadly there are people that for their own reasons do not want this site open to the public and this seems to be their method.
Apologies again, but we continue to do what we can to keep it up and running. Some days I am spending the entire day on phone and emails to fix whatever it is has been done again.
Please read the forums Site info section for information and comments

Jennifer Marie Periat DVM will appear for a short clip on Animal Planet on December 2, 2004 at 10 P.M. EST, be sure to tune in for this.
Dr Jen graduated from Michigan State University, College of Vet Med, May 7, 2004 and it has been exciting following her through school. Her primary interest is herp medicine and we are all fortunate to know someone with her dedication and knowledge. She is working in an animal hospital in Michigan and several members on here are clients there.
An avid reptile owner herself, she has too many species to list, her stories and pictures of not only her own collection, but her patients....anything from a lion to tiny lizard have entertained us for a few years.
In this part of the program, we think she will be seeing patients from Mid Michigan Reptile Rescue and Rehabilitation, Jane C. Billet, Founder
Version 2.0 of the free herp tracking software, called "Herp Care Software" (HCS) has been released.
This version has some big improvements compared to the previous version, like a full-blown menu and help file, a new species screen. A SCHEDULER to schedule your herp's feedings, a new improved way of printing, etc...
